MBA BU Partners with La-Z-Boy Thailand to Enrich Learning Beyond the Classroom

Bangkok, Thailand — Globiz Venture Co., Ltd., the official distributor of La-Z-Boy wellness furniture in Thailand, proudly partnered with Bangkok University Graduate School MBA students in BA841: Innovation and Organizational Development to transform classroom theory into practice through a real-world business case study.

On July 26, 2025, students attended a session at the La-Z-Boy Furniture Flagship Gallery titled “Innovation and Organizational Development: A Case Study of La-Z-Boy Next Gen – How to Win the Hearts of Gen Y and Z Customers.”The event was opened by Mr. Dhanakorn Kasetrsuwan, Founder and Director of La-Z-Boy Thailand and affiliated companies, and featured a strategy session led by Ms. Dhanaporn Kasetrsuwan, Assistant General Manager of Globiz Venture Co., Ltd., who shared innovation and marketing tactics tailored to Gen Y and Z consumers.

Building on this foundation, students returned on August 26, 2025 for the Final Pitching Event, where teams presented their go-to-market strategies to an industry panel. The program concluded with the announcement of the winning team, whose creativity, strategic thinking, and market insight were recognized and celebrated.
